As always I am very behind with Blogging so I thought that I would break the ice gently with a cake and fluffy animal filled post, shot at College Farm Bed and breakfast in Thompson just before Christmas last year!
During 2014 I worked with Katharine, who runs College Farm, on a wedding show and website to promote her amazing 13th century house and grounds as a wedding venue. It is a truly magical place – steeped in history and also very popular for bed and breakfast. In the grounds of College Farm you’ll find a splendid menagerie of animals – from pygmy goats to sandy black pigs. And of course we must not forget Brian the Alpaca whose quirky looks have gathered him quite a following on Twitter!
Katharine also caters for lunch parties, afternoon teas and morning coffees and always offers an amazing spread of tasty calorific treats. So what better place to meet for our annual Susan yoga class pre-Christmas chakra purge! This always involves copies amounts of cake along with the now very traditional yoga secret Santa! As one of our party also had a “significant” birthday Katharine whipped up a seasonal birthday cake. It goes without saying that a fine and festive time was had by all! Om Shanti
