On Saturday we shot our first wedding of the year at Swanton Morely – the service was in the village church and the reception just a short trip down the road at Hunters Hall. But more of that later! Earlier in the week the Mark and Michelle (the bride and groom) had invited me to go to their wedding rehearsal. As we’d not shot a wedding in the church before I jumped at the chance so as to get a good idea of the space and the light. It was a beautiful warm evening with sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows. Everyone was very relaxed and happy (especially the the bride to be who had a fit of the giggles while practicing her vows!) and Ed the Curate was just about the hippest member of the church of England that I’ve come across! Here are a few vintage processed shots from the evening. More to come about Mark and Michelle’s lovely wedding on the Blog soon….
