A Most Curious Wedding Fair: Autumn edition

I have been meaning to Blog about the Most Curious Vintage Wedding Fair for sometime but the hectic run up to Christmas and then the holidays got in the way.

But finally here are some images from the day which was held at St Andrews hall on 21st October last year.  This is the second time that we have exhibited at the event and so far it’s the only wedding fair that we have taken part on.  It is a great event with a host of lovely exhibitors and a range of shows and entertainment throughout the day.

Once again I was ably assisted by my daughter Reya – who when she wasn’t on the stand managed to eat cake from the vintage tea room, sample cup cakes from Cupcakes by Jess and drink lovely lemonade from Sugar Fish Productions (as well as scoff the complimentary chocolates on our own stand!)  Obviously the real point of the day was to meet couples planning their weddings for 2013 and beyond.  We chatted to some really lovely people – some who had come from as far as Peterborough!  At the end of the afternoon I managed a quick tour around the hall to chat with exhibitors and to take a few shots.

The next show is on 23rd March in St Andrews hall and we very much hope to be back!

It’s a great wedding fair. I photographed the London spring one. Not many fairs would be as interesting or fun to shoot. http://my-lovestory.co.uk/vintage-wedding-fair-york-hall/
